Gang History:
The GMM, better known as the, Get Money Mafia, was once the largest & most powerful Hispanic street gang in the state of San Andreas. Founded by a man named, Robert Rodriguez a.k.a. "Rhyno", on the streets of the southside of Los Santos. Based deep in the Willowfield neighborhood, the gang started out with little over thirty members. Over time, the gang's ruthless reputation expanded throughout the streets of LS like a bloodthirsty plague. After months of recruiting, the gang worked it's way up to over 500 members. Since their numbers were growing so rapidly, Rodriguez decided to organize the gang by creating ranks, chapters, & sets. He promoted his top ranked soldiers to the high rank of, Original Gangster, or OG. These OG's were in charge of running the smaller sets & keeping all of the low-ranked soldiers in line. Rodriguez then began to set his plan for territory expansion. He started by having his GMM's go to war with another local Hispanic street gang, the Seville Blvd. Kings. This also sparked tensions between the gang & the Kings' only ally, the Seville Blvd. Brims. After Rodriguez met a man named Rey Muñoz, leader of Los Norte's from across town, they merged their gangs together into a single street alliance known as, Los Nuestra Familia. This alliance grew even stronger when the Los Santos Bangers joined. Since the LSB's were in a heated gangwar with the Brims, the GMM was dragged into it. In the end, Los Nuestra Familia wiped out the Kings & the Brims as they took control of the Playa Del Seville district. The gang's influence expanded all over SA, as they had chapters in every city, including San Fierro & Las Venturas. They've recently taken control of the drug trades in both San Fierro & Los Santos. They're the most notorious Hispanic street gang in the history of Los Santos. There were rumors of Rodriguez expanding the GMM's million-dollar drug empire to the streets of Vice City. However, after the sudden suicide of the ganglord, the GMM has begun to collapse. Each set has started fighting for control of SA with the OG's taking sides. The once powerful crime organization known as the, "Get Money Mafia", has finally fallen from grace. With the death of Rhyno there drug and gun supply line cut as well as there manufacturing plant destroyed the gang has fallen from power due to police raids and another gang war only time will tell if this gang will be able to hold on to whats left.
