History- Jackie Gambetti is the second-cousin of Don Paulie Gambetti. Born in 1935, to Octavio Parmagio & Tina Gambetti in Harwood, Liberty City. Jackie's mother was the daughter of Carlo Gambetti, who was a made man in the family. While his mother cleaned the house, his father worked at the local factory during the great depression. Times were tough, especially after his parents died in a fire when he was 12. Jackie was forced to live on the streets. At age 16, he became involved in bank robbing with a few associates he'd met over the years. He successfully robbed four banks before he & his crew were caught in 1954. He was sentenced to ten years in prison. However, he was bailed out of jail a few weeks later by his grandfather, Carlo, who was now an underboss for the Gambettis. Carlo saw potential in Jackie and put in a word to make him an unofficial enforcer for the family. By age 23, Jackie had proven himself, & became a made man. In 1967, Carlo offered Jackie a hit contract to whack Jason Alexander, the Mayor at the time. Alexander was cracking down with indictments against more than fifteen members of the Gambetti Family. Jackie accepted the contract and assassinated Mayor Alexander while he was giving a speech in city hall. Jackie was easily caught by the LCPD and was sentenced to 42 years in prison, with no parole & no bail. While on the inside, Jackie was promoted to the rank of Caporegime. Jackie was released in 2009, and welcomed back to the streets by the remaining Gambetti Family members. He's recently moved out to San Fierro to look after the Gambetti Family's best interests out on the west coast due to his uncle Paulie, the new Gambetti Don, recently retiring from the 'casino' business.
