History- Benjamin Blanco was born to a poor Puerto Rican family in South Bohan, Liberty City, 1987. His parents, Hector & Anita Blanco emigrated to the U.S. from San Juan two years earlier in an attempt to escape the governmental tyranny that was sweeping through Puerto Rico at the time. After several weeks, they settled in a project housing unit in the South Bohan district. Hector found work as a taxi driver while Anita stayed home to take care of young Benjamin. After a while she gave him the nickname, “Benny”. As an only child, Benny was always alone. His father barely made minimum wage on some days. The other kids in the neighborhood often bullied him because of his weight, which left Benny with no friends. But as the years passed, Benny began fighting back. By age 14 he was the biggest kid on his block and had built a reputation as a troublemaker. When Benny was 16, his mother had died from an illness. This caused him to spiral out control, as he dropped out of school and began getting involved in small-time crimes such as armed robbery, car theft & pretty soon… drug dealing. Once his father found out that he dropped out of school, Benny was kicked out on the street with nowhere to go. With Benny’s rep for being a “tough guy”, he soon caught the attention of local Bohan druglord, Elizabeta “Liz” Torres. He started out as a delivery boy for Torres and worked his way up to being one of her top dealers. But the LCPD soon caught wind of Torres’ operation. Within a few months, half of her crew was either on the run or incarcerated. Benny was finally caught by an undercover officer in 2006 at age 19. He was sentenced to 10 years but was released on parole after serving five. After getting released, Benny realized that there was nothing left for him in Liberty City now that Torres & her crew were long gone. He used the little bit of cash he had left to buy a one way plane ticket to Los Santos, San Andreas. Two weeks after arriving on the westcoast, Benny rented a small apartment on the northside of the city in an area known as, Chicano. He’s made a few connections in LS and has started making moves in his new neighborhood as the head of his own new drug organization he calls, "La Coka Nostra".
