Axel had been informed by his Army buddy, Yassen Sarov, about the Tank. Yassen was good friends with Axel, as Axel's real father was a war veteran, and they had crossed paths before. Axel's dad was a Major before he died. Axel had gotten Pete Vance to help him out. He gave Pete a TEC-9 and some Molotovs. Pete was going to initiate the plan, as he was a diversion, a decoy, a distraction simply. They got into Axel's Admiral, and secretly followed the Tank when they saw it, surrounded by Patriots and several other Army vechiles, but there was only one Tank. Then Pete got out, and Axel drove in front of the Army parade. Then Pete fired from behind a tree, and their attention drew to him. Then Axel sneaked to the Tank and hijacked it, then drove off, and Pete stole someone's PCG-900 Motorbike, and they both escaped, however the Police were on their tail, so Axel used the Tank gun to fend them off, and Pete used his TEC-9 on the Police roadblocks, so they exploded. They managed to get to Doherty, and deposited the vechiles in Axel's garages in his new Car repairs and modification shop, and the Police and the Army left them. He had done it. Now he had to get Don Trapani's help.
