History- By 1952, Liberty City was practically being run by the Forelli Crime Family. New districts were also being established like the Red Light District & Hepburn Heights. The construction of new structures were also finished, like the Callaham Bridge. It was also the year that Frank Morello was born. Frank was born to an American family. His father, Bill Morello was the city's Cheif of police from 1957-1961. In 1961, when Frank was nine years old, he went with his dad to the police station Downtown on career day. While in his father's office, Frank witnessed a local mafioso walk into the police station and shoot the Cheif. No one did anything about it because they were all on the mafioso's payroll. It turns out that the name of the mafioso that killed the Chief was Salvatore Leone... From then on, Frank built a hatred for gangsters. Growing up after that was tough because Frank's mother, Dolly Morello, soon died of cancer. Once Frank turned eighteen, he left the orphanage to attend police academy. After he passed with flying colors in 1977, he was assigned to the city's 44th Precinct, located in Alderney. After making a name for himself on the streets of Liberty City, Frank was soon promoted to the rank of Detective. He was a feared corrupt cop, that was known to drain the local gangsters and businesses for every penny they had. Pretty soon, he even helped put his father's murderer, Salvatore Leone, behind bars. However, Salvatore was no longer a small time gangster. He was now Don of his own family out in the Saint Marks district. With Salvatore's new power, he called out a hit on all of the police that helped put him away, including Frank. Frank was then reassigned to the Las Venturas Police Department out in San Andreas in 1987. He's been a corrupt political official down there ever since.
