John Lupino had heard about a couple of local Italian street thugs who wanted to become respected Mafioso. So he drove with two Costello Associates to the Maximum Security place. John was disguised as a psychiatrist who worked at Maximum Security places, with some equipment in the van. While the guards were distracted, all three of them pressed the gate switch and fled the place. The van was secretly rigged with explosives. John pressed the big red button on the detonator. A catastrophic explosion occured, and many inmates broke out. John managed to recruit 30 Italian street thugs, all of them travelling to the Mansion in LV.

The Cops did not catch them, distracted by the mass breakout.

Detective Morello walks in and goes up to the prison's warrden:
Morello: What the fuck happened here!? Warrden: We think the Costello family was behind this. An inmate escaped. Morello: Damn Costellos... Which inmate? Warrden: Alfredo Costello. Morello: Fred the butcher... Ofcourse the Costellos were behind this. But Alfredo couldn't have escaped without someone on the inside helping him. Warrden: Are you saying that one of my guards is on the Costellos' payroll? Morello: No... I'm saying YOU are!?
Detective Morello then reaches into the Warrden's coat pocket and pulls out a roll of hundred dollar bills:
Morello: What's this Warrden!? This is more than I make in a year! Warrden: I... I... um... Morello: Save it asshole. You have the right to remain silent anything you say can & will be used against you in a court of law.
Detective Morello then slams the Warrden on a near by wall, and he slaps the handcuffs on him and takes him back to the Las Venturas Police Department.
