History- Born to an alcoholic father & a prostitute mother, Pedro Rivera's childhood was far from easy. Pedro's family resided in the Liberty City neighborhood known as Cerveza Heights. Pedro's father, Carlos Rivera, left his mother, Maria Rivera, when he was just 5 years old. A few years passed, and Pedro's mother soon remarried. His new stepfather, Diego Garcia, was an abusive junkie who would always take his frustrations out on Pedro and his mother. This made Pedro tougher and tougher over the years. By age 12, Pedro soon became involved in selling drugs for the local street gang called, the Spanish Lords. By age 17, he had a reputation on the streets of Liberty City and the LCPD started keeping a close eye on him. Pedro had earned the nickname, "Speedy", because of how fast he was at selling drugs. One night, Pedro's stepfather had no money to buy the heroin he was addicted to. He stole some of the drug money that Pedro had stashed in his matress over the years. When Pedro found out, him & some of his friends who were Spanish Lords stabbed his stepfather to death. They then dumped his body in the west river. People all over the neighborhood started fearing Pedro after that. Pedro was selling more drugs then anybody else, until he saved enough money to fund his own operation. After that, Pedro started recruiting locals to work for him. Each corner he controled was making over $5,000 every week. However, the LCPD caught wind of Pedro's drug operations. In 1999, one of his old Spanish Lord friends testified against him in court. Pedro recieved 10 years in prison. All of his connections with the Spanish Lords were cut off soon after, and his entire operation was shut down by the FBI. He was released in 2009, and was freed back onto the streets of Liberty City. He returned to his old aprtment in Cerveza Heights which was now an abandoned building, and he saw that his secret stash of $30,000 was still saved there after all these years. He took his money & bought a one way ticket to Los Santos, San Andreas. He's been trying to live a legit life in the Los Santos neighborhood known as Chicano. However, rumor has it that Pedro is currently rebuilding his old drug empire, and this time he means business. He has also recently became a member of the Los Santos Vagos, a very infamous hispanic street gang. With his new connections in the Vagos, his supplier in Vice City, & the GMM backing up his operation, his product is the hottest thing on the street.
